Course-I (1.1.1) – CHILDHOOD AND GROWING UP
- Observe children from different age groups (Early childhood, Later childhood, Adolescence) in different situations like classroom, playground, home, with parents, friends, and siblings. List their physical, social, emotional, and intellectual characteristics.
- Notice different maladjusted behaviours among adolescents inside and outside the classroom. Interview a few students to understand possible reasons behind their behaviours.
- Visit
a school during Practice Teaching and find out what activities or measures
the school and teachers take to support children's mental health.
Interview some teachers for this.
- Observe a successful teacher and list the behavioural traits that you find impressive.
- List some examples of classroom learning situations that involve insightful learning.
Course-II (1.1.2) – CONTEMPORARY INDIA ANDEDUCATION

- Study
the impact of the Right to Education (RTE) Act on schools.
- Critically
analyze the recommendations of different committees and commissions on
education.
- Study
how private schools manage their educational process.
- Plan
and implement any one of the following activities:
- Set
up an Eco-Club.
- Create
instructional material to promote values.
- Organize
a field visit to a vocational institute and write a report.
- Develop awareness about population explosion in rural or slum areas.
- Create
awareness among SC/ST students about different government schemes and
scholarships.
- Survey
schools to check how well government incentives are helping to equalize
education opportunities.
- Prepare
a presentation showcasing India's rich cultural heritage.

a school and find out the communication problems students face.
