- Critically analyse the status of ‘Education’ as a discipline / area of study. In this connection delineate the aims of Indian Education in the context of a democratic, secular, egalitarian and humane society.
- Discuss the role of Media, use of technology, civil society groups, Teacher organizations, family and local communities in school education and make comment how these factors influence the progress of education.
Group-B (10 Marks each) 3. What do you mean by interdisciplinary nature of education? What do you think about centrality of language in education? 4. Discuss the socio-cultural context of Education. Briefly narrate the value based education in school level education. 5. Discuss the role of family and Civil Society in school education. 6. What is meant by ‘Sustainable Education’? How it is related to assessment? 7. What are the determinants of Educational policies of India? 8. Discuss the role of NGOs and Local Communities systems in the present School Education.
